We’ve officially hired our new 2016/17 guiding team, and our bookings are already starting to pile up for the upcoming summer season!  This summer we’re looking forward to running our new kayak trip: The 1.5 Hr Kayak Discovery tour.  Starting from next week you can book the tour online … but we have been running this tour on demand for a few seasons now.

The Kayak Discovery, although shorter, still packs in some incredible views and amazing scenery.  The guide will take you as far as you want to paddle in the time frame, but we can guarantee that you’ll at least see Lake Mapourika’s giant 900 year old Kahikatea tree, and the stunning panorama of the Glaciers and Southern Alps.

This tour was designed those really short on time, but has also become a favorite for families with young children (under 5 years), and those that are wanting a really short, and most of all a really easy trip.  Yesterday we took out one of the happiest toddlers:
