Last week we sent some of the team out to the Lake to help the DOC team, and the Southwestland Lions clean up the Otto’s corner beach access. Otto’s beach is a wonderful swim spot, and on fine days, where we operate our Stand-Up Paddleboards. The weather was clear-ish so we all took the opportunity to give the area a spruce up for everyone to enjoy!
Thanks to the Scenic Hotel for sending some of their staff to help out, and for Oscar and the team at the Monsoon Bar and Restaurant for putting on an amazing meal for everyone afterwards! We look forward to another afternoon to finish the job.
Last week also said goodbye to Jeff – a.k.a “The Kea”. Jeff was here for a short, but sweet time. Helping us out over the busiest month of the season, and covering for other team members holidays. He’s continued his travels of the south Island in search of some more sunshine! We really appreciate all the hard work he put in for us, and he’ll be missed!
We hear there’s some sunshine heading our way … The next week is looking great on the coast, and I also heard a rumor that March will bring some warmers temps and lots more of that Vitamin D we’re all missing!
