Lots has happened over the last month … we’ve had complete change up in staff, 4 new Guides have all been trained up and are now ready to rock on the Lake!  Meet all our new guides, and have a look at some of our recent trips photos below!

Goat (always known as Goat … real name unknown)

Goat is a Helicopter pilot by trade, but most importantly a Kayak Guide for Franz Josef Tours this season.  Come out on a trip and you can get one of his infamous selfies to take home!

Jonny (aka Yeah Jonny)

Jonny is from the UK, he’s the newest member of the team – just signed off and ready to go!  YEAH Jonny!

Mike (aka Frodo)

Mike is from Canada and loves NZ (he’s a resident now too!) he’s an amazing guide and helps to manage the crew as well!

Robin (aka Robinson)

Robin is true west coaster, hailing from Hokitika and maybe one of the keenest paddlers I’ve ever met.  When she’s not guiding trips… she’s running rivers and praying for rain!
