Happy Easter from all of us at Franz Josef Tours!  We enjoyed a busy weekend which held a couple of days of rain followed by some spectacular calm and fine weather.  The lakes been amazing by giving us some amazing reflections and some fish on the line!

With the end of the Salmon Season we’re now fishing for Brown Trout.  Lucky for us we can fish for trout all year around on Lake Mapourika!  We took a family out, and helped their son catch his first fish!  Upon getting the fish in the boat however, he decided he didn’t want to touch it!  Here’s the young man and his nice looking Brown Trout (held by Dale):

And as for the Scenic Cruises, they’ve been as scenic as ever this week.  With the shorted days we’re now enjoying misty mornings and sunsets at the end of the day!  The inside cabin area is nice and warm for those crisp mornings and evenings… making the cruise a great winter activity!
