Last week Glacier Country Hosted another bi-annual I-site Famil!  We hosted 7 Isite staff members in Franz Josef and Fox Glacier for a fews action packed days of activities, meals and great beds to sleep in at night!

We were also blessed with some of the best weather you could ask for on West Coast…

Their first day was spent in Fox Glacier, skydiving, hiking on the Glacier and eating some amazing food while enjoyed an equally amazing view of Lake Matheson.

They then made their way over to Franz Josef for some action over here!  We got them out first thing for a spectacular morning kayak tour …  Here’s some of the photos: The days in Franz Josef consisted of the Westcoast Wildlife Centre to check our newly hatched chicks, scenic flights, Glacier Walks, Skydiving, Horsetrekking as well as some fantastic meals at all the restaurants in town!  The following day was spent in Whataroa (about 30 mins north from Franz) where they enjoyed more scenic flights, a White Heron tour and also a Fault Line walk!

Needless to say, they were impressed with the amount of things to do in Glacier Country!  They had an amazing time, and probably went home to sleep for a few days after their trip.
