Our Kayak Discovery tour starts off by meeting our friendly and knowledgeable guides, you will then be transported down to Lake Mapourika where your guide will assist you in with putting on our kayaking and safety equipment. You will then be introduced to the kayak and our guides will give you a complete introduction to paddling and steering.

Once you are comfortable you will hit the water!

The Kayak Discovery takes you out of Jetty Bay to discover some of the amazing scenery that the area has on offer. Visit an old growth Kahikatea tree which is one of the oldest trees around the lake! Your guide will also take you to a scenic spot where to enjoy the panoramic mountain and glacier views.

As with all of our Kayaking tours your guide will take high quality photographs of you in action which you will then be emailed for FREE!
