The annual South Westland Triathlon was on recently and the day turned out to be a cracker!

There were some solid entrees this year but most of all everyone had a good time and got into the spirit of things with teams getting dressed up including 3 corporate teams from The Department of Conservation!

A lack of equipment also didn’t let this winning girls team from completing as they came and borrowed some kayaks from us!

We also had the Hanna-K out on the water as a safety boat ensuring there were no serious mishaps on the water. (only 1 capsize occurred!)

Over all we couldn’t have asked for a better day to be out enjoying the West Coast in all it’s glory!
