What a spring we’ve had! Sunshine and epic high pressure prevailed during the month of November. We usually experience a lot of rain and wind during spring. Although this season we’ve experienced the opposite which left Franz Josef Glacier in an untimely drought!
We’ve enjoyed a really busy shoulder season and are now looking forward to the upcoming ‘crazy’ season. This is marked by the start of the school holidays and festive season!
Lake Mapourika welcomed back its White Heron visitors, they’ve been spotted fishing for eels by the Creek. Here’s some pictures from the end of our dry spell, and some from our trips in the welcomed wet weather last weekend.
