The sunshine has left us with some more typical El Nino weather … we haven’t had much heavy rain, but overcast and drizzly days have been the norm lately!  Don’t let the weather bring you down though, this post is dedicated to this mornings trip of drizzle and cloud … And it was BEAUTIFUL!

Gethin was the guide for this morning’s paddle, taking a fun crew with him out to the lake for some beautiful views and lots of laughs!  We were blessed with a misty cloud setting over the glacier valley, but the clouds gave us a glacier view above them!   

On the far side of the lake, Gethin gave out some of our favorite rainforest edibles … the two below didn’t seem to enjoy them that much!

And then he managed to snap a couple of beauties from our paddle into the Kiwi Sanctuary:
